Ascend High-Low Adjustable Bed with Tilt
Getting from lying down to sitting up
- The moment
- Sitting up from flat takes a core strength that is not what it used to be. You grab the headboard, twist and push, and some mornings it takes two tries.
- What it costs
- That twist strains the back and hips, and the dread of it makes you lie in bed longer than you want to, or skip getting up when you should.
- What changes
- Let the bed do the sitting up. The Ascend's head and foot sections raise you into a supported, chair-like posture before your feet ever leave the bed, then about 7 inches of hi-low lift bring you to an easy standing height. At night, tilt the whole bed up to 7 degrees for an even incline, or double-click to return flat.
